It comes out here Sunday (March 6th) in North America, and i can’t wait, i got it pre ordered and just need to pay it off.

I would have it preordered but since my ds light is starting to flicker red on the top screen i have to wate till i get my 3ds to get Black.
Well no big loss it’ll keep me busy for a good month or two untill the games i really want come out.
Pokemon is dead to me after Red-Blue-Green (The GBA remakes are good too), I can’ t stand that much of it anymore, also the ” newer” pokemon look really stupid, they’re really running out of ideas.

I noticed that the newer Pokemon look digital/CGI-like compared to when they first came out, where they looked like they could be real creatures.

That’s what almost everyone says who doesn’t like Pokemon anymore, “I don’t like it anymore because of this Generation” or “the designs look dumb”, yes i will admit that some of the new ones look really crappy and that some where probably put there in the last minuite but i still love to play Pokemon, plus this is a New generation with none from the previous so that is what made me happy, I hated playing the other ones and seeing some from other Generations in there.
I don’t understand this notion of the newer pokemon looking stupid. Pokemons have looked absolutely retarded since day one. Like if a giant turtle with two bazookas under it’s shell was plausible or something. And that one is right in the cover of blue version.
You either still like the game or you don’t but I don’t really think that the design of the new pokemon should have anything to do with it.
I’m not really the portable gaming guy, so I probably won’t be buying this one.
Saw in a flyer that there are 150 new Pokemon. So how many Pokemon are there now? Last time I check there were 150 or 151 if you counted Mew, and the generation after that double it.
Side-note: I do not play Pokemon games, tried but trying to catch them was annoying due to the fact that you needed to weaken them without taken them out.

While that save me from posting the number. I decide to look it up and Wikipedia was the only decent source.
After reading how they got rid of Piplup (yes I like penguins) in the TV show that has killed all things pokemon for me. Though the 30% off black and white sale is sort of tempting. You pay full RRP of 69.95$ and get a free pikachu stuffed toy. Or buy the game by itself for 47$ well until the sale ends.
Maybe when I see someone review it and if it looks ok then I may get it, but til then not for me.
